Services
I provide in-person psychotherapy in my Palo Alto office to individual adults and couples. I also provide teletherapy online through a HIPAA-compliant platform (Simple Practice). I can also be found on the online platform Headway which accepts several health insurance companies. Here is my profile link:
I do offer a free 15-minute phone consultation.
My private pay (out of pocket) rates are:
$190 for an individual 50-minute session.
$220 for a 50-minute couple session.
Payment can be made by credit card at time of service. A 48-hr. cancellation notice is required in order to avoid payment of a late cancellation fee. I do charge $75 for cancellations less than 48 hours. I currently accept the following health insurance plans: Aetna, Carelon Behavioral Health, Quest Behavioral Health, and Anthem Blue Cross California. Starting September 1, 2025, I also accept Wellfleet Stanford SHIP. If you don’t use any of these health insurance companies, I can provide you with a ‘superbill’ for out-of-network providers on request.
Good Faith Estimate Notice
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the No Surprises Act, a new Federal law, effective January 1, 2022, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance (including private paying clients) an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
